AutoCAD Tutorial: How to Create a Linetype

Once again it’s been a while since I’ve posted anything on my blog and it was really starting to bug me. I’d click over to the home page and it was an old post from months ago! I had been so busy with creating my first AutoCAD Course (check it out here if you have’t yet) that I hadn’t updated the blog in a few months and even worse, I haven’t posted a new video on my youtube channel in a year!!

Today marks the start of a new “season” of autocad episodes I’ll be posting on the channel and to the blog here. The goal is to group them into weekly/bi-weekly episodes, I haven’t decided which yet but they will cover all kinds of autocad related topics including gear, equipment, basic CAD, Civil 3D and various tips and software. Also, if you have any requests or suggestions just leave a comment below and I will add them to the future list of episode topics.

To start off the new set of videos is my Tutorial on how to make a custom linetype in autocad using the makelinetype command as well as a more advanced linetype using a shapefile.
