Hey Everybody
Brandon here, back again with another 2 Minute Tuesday Video and post for you all!
Today we are taking a look at a really useful and often underused or completely forgotten pair of commands, Divide & Measure.
These commands allow us to easily and quickly divide or split objects into equal segments! By following along with the video and taking advantage of these commands we can use the break command to instantly segment any lines or curves into equal parts for quicker drafting in general.
I’ve often come across the question of how to break or segment a line in AutoCAD and it’s surprisingly difficult to explain in text, let alone in say a comment on a blog or youtube. That’s why I wanted to make todays video to help explain and walk through the whole process in an easy to follow and straight forward video.
Check out How to Divide or Measure in Equal Parts here and below:
That’s all for today’s quick Autocad Tip, I hope you all were able to take something away from it and able to add a new tool to your CAD toolbox!
