AutoCAD How to Clip or Trim Xrefs (external references) and Blocks – 2 Minute Tuesday

Hey Everybody,

Hope you’re doing well and off to a great start to the year! I can’t believe it’s already 2021, I’m hopeful we’re all in for a better year than last. I am excited to jump into this new year with a ton of great new content for you all and to continue to share, learn, and interact with everyone.

Today marks the first Tuesday of the year and with that, I wanted to highlight and share a recent 2 Minute Tuesday video from the youtube channel where I go over some helpful ways to use clipping within AutoCAD, particularly with Xrefs and Blocks.

In the video, I walk through how we can use clipping boundaries to keep our drawings organized and less cluttered, especially when referencing in large drawings that can not only take up a lot of screen space but also increase drawing sizes.

Check out the video below:

That’s all for today’s quick Autocad Tip, I hope you all were able to take something away from it and able to add a new tool to your CAD toolbox!
