If you haven’t already seen or tried out Plex.Earth for AutoCAD I highly recommend taking a look at their website and/or my previous post showing just a few features of the software.
In short, Plex.Earth integrates Google Earth with Autocad allowing you to seamlessly import Imagery & Terrain into your Civil projects as well as providing the ability to showcase your drawings/models directly in Google Earth. Letting you better design for the environment around your project and better highlight your designs when showing them to clients and investors.

In my previous post/video I went into detail on how easy it is to quickly Import a georeferenced google earth image directly into AutoCAD by using Plex.Earth, by using this method, I saved a ton of time over the old workaround of exporting an image from Google Earth and aligning it to fit roughly based on landmarks or points within the image area.

The Plex earth program offers such a better way to use google earth pro for what I do. I’m constantly importing images for the work I do and having a more accurate system would be of immense help. Whether I’m chosen or not, I plan on asking my manager to allow me to add this to my cad arsenal.
Thank you for the comment and entering Bill! Wishing you luck on the giveaway!
I agree, I’ve been using Plex Earth for a little while now and it’s great for working with images and bringing them in accurately, definitely work mentioning to work about trying it out at least.

Our Company (Gonzalez Strength & Assoc.) has been using Plex.Earth for 3 years and when dealing with Civil and Surveying sites every day Plex.Earth has a seamless way to view sites and pull in information (Topo and Aerials) in a matter of seconds. A program that offers a lot of tools for preliminary work on sites no matter where they are located. Wouldn’t live without it as a designing tool.
That’s awesome Kevin, I agreee, Plex.Earth is great for civil/survey projects. It makes it so much easier to grab imagery/topo that I used to have to do manually or from a variety of different sources with varying accuracy. Definitely makes life easier.
Thank you for reading/commenting and entering the giveaway! Good Luck
Cheers,
Brandon
From us all at Plex.Earth, thank you Kevin for sharing your positive experience with our software! Best, Eleni
