Brandon here,
Back with another awesome Two Minute Tuesday video to help you become a more productive designer!
I hope you had a great weekend and are getting into the week nicely. I know I’m getting excited for friday already. On friday my Wife, Son and I are embarking on our vacations, a hopefully epic road trip, heading from the west coast of Canada all the way down the California, I can’t wait! I’ll be sure to keep you all updated so if you want to follow along, make sure to follow me on twitter @cadintentions for pictures and updates as we go.
Now, on to todays new TMT video, I’m enjoying making these quick tip and trick videos on the youtube channel since they can pack such great info into short time to get you drafting faster. In the video I shows you a really quick trick that many people don’t know, a super quick and easy way to import or copy linework or any object from an external reference (xref) directly into your current drawing! This is a super helpful trick that can save you a ton of time in your drawing, especially when you just need to grab a couple lines or text from a base xref and don’t want to spend time opening it up or searching for it. Just a few clicks and the objects are brought into the main drawing.
Check it out in the video below or on the channel and let me know what you think!
Let me know what you’d like to see in an upcoming video and make sure to subscribe and follow me on twitter @cadintentions for more videos and tutorials!
As always, thank you so much for watching, and don’t forget to let me know what tip, trick or tutorial you’d like to see next in the comments or if you’re having issues with your sheet sets.
Cheers and happy drafting!
Just in case you haven’t seen it yet, I recent wrote and AutoCAD book: The AutoCAD Productivity Handbook
