AutoCAD Tutorial: How to Create (Multiple & Shape) Viewports in a Layout

Brandon here back with another Autocad Tutorial video. In this video I go over how to create a new viewport in AutoCAD. We go over making viewports a few different ways to create multiple views of various shapes and sizes in your layout, including polygonal and circle viewports. I also go through the process of creating a new layout by using a drawing template to save time and automate the whole process.

This video was a response to a few comments I’ve received about how to show more detail on a single layout without it being a mess by using 2 or 3 viewports to show different areas of your drawing at multiple scales.
